For to long had Oda Nobunaga used up the lands resources, for to long had he led the people through chaos and a tyrannical rule. The Oda armies remained unmatched for months now. Marching across central Japan and making it his own. The only ones who openly opposed them and stood a chance, was from the island of Shikoku.
A noble lord by the name of Chosokabe Motochika had arisen and claimed all of Shikoku as his own. But he led the people justifiably, showing kindness and compassion. Much unlike that of Oda Nobunaga, who only sought to rule all of Japan as his own. Sure he had his reasons and wanted to bring an end to all of the fighting, but most of the wrongdoings were by his own hands.
Miyamoto Musashi had encounter the vast Oda armies on numerous occasions, but had been pushed back every time. The first was in Mikawa where a chinaman by the name of Zhuge Liang had assisted him. Where Mori Ranmaru had proven to be a match for him. The second time was in Iga. Where Musashi had assisted the Fuma ninja's. Ultimately though, the Fuma had surrendered and allied to the Oda. Now the Oda banner had a tight grip on the mainland, which went unchecked.
Months had passed now and Miyamoto Musashi had been long training. Away from the wars, away from all of the conflict. Now was the time to return and attempt an assassination on the Demon King's life. Tucked away in his capitol of Owari, lay a massive castle. A castle that seemed almost impregnable. Miyamoto Musashi would go here and gain entrance into the castle. Without an army, it would be much more simpler to gain access and attempt the assassination.
It took hours of planning and sitting idly by, but it would pay off in the end. As Musashi watched the routes of the Oda patrolmen, he soon found the best way to get into the castle without being noticed. Slipping past the guards he made his way into the castle. Ducking behind the numerous buildings within, holding his swords low to prevent the moonlight from reflecting light to alert the guards. Musashi ran from building to building avoiding the Oda patrolmen each time. Hours went by as he slowly crept through the immensely guarded castle.
Upon reaching the entrance to the inner keep he sighed. There would be no way to gain entrance to the inner keep without killing the guardsmen guarding the doorway. Waiting for the patrolmen to make their rounds, he moved at just the right moment and time. Swiftly he cut down both the guards guarding the doorway and dragged their bodies into an irrigation ditch. After which he pressed on into the inner keep.
This hall was both grand and beautiful; decorated with the most luxurious cloths, ornaments and paintings. However, there was not a single guard here. A most curious observation, but he knew that the great Demon King, Oda Nobunaga, would not be unguarded and would have Mori Ranmaru closely by.

-Oda Nobunaga
Nobunaga sat atop his throne. He had made the central of Japan his base now and his territory stretched far and wide. Most did not expect him to do so well, though he seemed unstoppable. His armies had never felt the stain of retreat or defeat, until in Kyoto. Though that was simple enough, he should of never attacked there to begin with.
-Mori Ranmaru
Stood ever vigilant next to his lord. A small and frail boy to the eyes of others, but to his lord Oda Nobunaga he was invaluable. A most daring and courageous young man capable of holding off even the very best of warriors. Though not a fighter in a large battle since, duels was where he shined. He stood calm waiting for reports from Hintsune Juyian and Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

The time for sneaking around was over. Musashi was now in the grand hall of the Demon King, Oda Nobunaga. Now was the time to face Nobunaga's bodyguard, Mori Ranmaru. Who had pushed him back once before. Miyamoto Musashi had spent months now training and waiting for the day he could beat Ranmaru. Was this the day?
Coming out from behind a pillar, he stood wielding both his weapons and stared down the ever vigilant Mori Ranmaru and further more towards Oda Nobunaga. "Now is the time to prove myself. If I want to be the greatest swordsman in all of Japan, then Mori Ranmaru must fall." Musashi proclaimed loud enough for the both of the to hear. He walked slowly up towards the two daunting individuals.

-Oda Nobunaga
Nobunaga sat quietly. Before Ranmaru was more than a match for Musashi and he had no reason to expect any different. Though it was strange how one such as Musashi could of sneaked past all of his forces stationed in his Capitol and Castle. In fact, the majority of his army was always on patrol, always vigilant. In truth, they were either marching to conquer more land or training. Nobunaga stayed quiet as he knew that Ranmaru would step forth and deal with this threat.
-Mori Ranmaru
Stepping in front of his lord he smirked towards Musashi. Indeed he had defeated him once before, but anything could change in the heat of battle. He figured that Miyamoto Musashi had been training, but so had Mori Ranmaru. It would be foolish to think otherwise. He spoke confidently, but in that odd piercing voice due to his age. "Once again we meet face to face Musashi. You are a good opponent, I give you that, but you will never harm my lord." Brandishing his abnormally large blade.

Miyamoto Musashi was through with words. It was time to end this tyrants rule over the mainland and if anyone was going to cut down Mori Ranmaru and Oda Nobunaga, it was going to be him or so he believed. Musashi broke into a run and raised both of his swords high. Both weapons would come down hard over Ranmaru's defensive stance. Though his abnormally large blade would be able to block them. So, he would kick with his right leg afterwards aiming for his torso.

-Mori Ranmaru
Raising his large blade high, he would block both of his opponents blades. Then he would push forward knocking the weapons back, but there was nothing the young warrior could do against the following kick. It would hit hard in his torso and pushed him back. Sliding his feet back only a few meters. Then Ranmaru would raise his weapon and slam it down overhead of his opponent.
