"I have carried this burden a long time...but it is over now...Let the journey commence!", were the words that came out of a proud and bold man, as he walked with his heavy suit of armor, and a large spear, all embroided in the colours of the Tokugawa.
To his side, was a man renown throughout the land, with his steel armor and horned helm, "Yes mylord", he responded in a gruff strong voice that too was proud like the first man.
The proud man was none other than Ieyasu Tokugawa, born as a Warrior of Mikawa, before facing dishonor when the Imagawa made slaves of his clan, which was the Matsudaira back then, but even after Oda took back what was theirs, Ieyasu still did not control his home of Mikawa and when he entered Mikawa, he heard about the Oda's attack, and how the peasants suffered terrible fates. It was common knowledge that the Oda was strong, but it was also known how bloodthirsty and dangerous they were too. They must be stopped.
"The new world begins with the Oda's defeat! I shall carve my name into the pages of History. Slowly but surely, the great task that I shall go down, will succeed", he said with an array of confidence shining off him as he stood in the capital of Mikawa, on the center stage no less, with Tadakatsu by his side.
He lifted his left arm, aswell as his right holding his cannon spear, before bellowing, "Proud Warriors of Mikawa! It is time to rise forth! Patience is the surest path to victory and now is the time that we must rise. We have endured enough time under the Oda's tyranny. Now! We shall lead people to a better world...one step at a time! Give me your courage, Give me your valour, oh proud warriors of MIKAWA!".
Tadakatsu remained silent, but even his presence installed fear into some, but even more pride into others to have the Greatest Warrior in Japan on their side. His Lord had spoken with his heart and many rejoiced to see the Tokugawa rise again, but this time with greater strength, but at the same time, it was important to move when the time was right. It was like what Ieyasu told him before coming, when he first planned his rebellion, to move one step at a time. The first of course, was to raise the Warriors of Mikawa. The next was wherever his Lord would lead him.
