Hintsune Juyian had done everything she was orders so far. And she didn't intend on changing that. The Chosokabe were becoming a threat to the Oda far too quickly, and it was time she moved in. She sailed in on them. "Let us see just how mighty the Chosokabe ships and bows really are.." She would mumble to herself as land could be sighted.
Ships + Units she had taken with her:
Heavy Galleon A (Flagship, Contains Hintsune Juyian): 3,000 Samurai 1000 Oda Riflemen
Heavy Galleon B: 600 Oda Riflemen 1,399 Samurai 2,000 Ashigaru 1 Cannon

It had been awhile since Zhuge embarked on his expedition to nag at the Oda heals. Unfortunately, it did not pan out as well as he had planned. His first encountered had thrown one of the Oda allies, Date Masamune, into complete confusion. Showing that with wits, one could outmatch any number of soldiers. But it only proved futile without the proper means to wage a war against the Oda.
Now Zhuge Liang traveled back to the islands of Shikoku. Where he had made his new home with his new master Chosokabe Motochika. One who was both kind and wise. He had accepted Zhuge into his forces and had given him command over his armies. After hearing of Zhuge's numerous exploits in China. Those many many years so long ago.
Upon his return the seas were even rougher than before. Sure the waters around Shikoku had always been rough, but this day was different. The Oda general, Hintsune Juyian, had made her way to Kyushu to assist their new allies the Shimazu. Now she had embarked for Shikoku. Zhuge had to react and protect his lords lands while he was away trying to claim lands in Kyushu.
Juyian's accomplishments in land battles were well known throughout the land, but as for sea battles she was knew, inexperienced and Zhuge would show her. He only hoped that his lord would return so. For his numbers and Ships were light, but he would not let the Oda walk all over the lands that his master, Chosokabe Motochika, had worked so hard to gain.
Zhuge Liang would first dock his Kansen and order the men stationed in Shikoku to prepare the Chosokabe Flag Ship for battle. This ship was very luxurious and powerful, it would prove itself against the Oda here today. After successfully rousing the men in Shikoku, he and his 600 Engineers, 800 Monks boarded on his 1 Kansen, a long with the 1 Chosokabe Flag Ship, would launch from the docks and meet the Oda ships in open water.
Upon the Chosokabe Flag Ship, Zhuge Liang had prepared an altar. In the past, Zhuge had summoned winds from the southeast to assist a fire attack against the massive Wei forces. Much like the Wei forces, Oda were very similar in many ways. He began to pray upon the Flag Ship and hoped that his plans would once again be proven effective by the grace of the heavens.

Juyian would flick her hair back as the sight of enemy vessles appeared. She was new and inexperianced at sea battles, and was really hoping to land before engaging the enemy. However, she was attacking the second most powerful nation here, and she was a fool to not expect such an attack. And the defending force would be none other then the reknown Zhuge Liang, Chosokabe's stratagist.
It was he that helped them grow with serious and effective tactics. But it was also him that first challanged the Oda, distracting our former ally without taking a single loss. He was a threat and must be dealt with quickly. However, she could see the alter aboard their flagship. And she felt offended.
How dare he pray in front of a priestess.. No, the Maiden of Curses, The Oda Witch. He would regret ever setting sail as she began to give out orders.
(Will send in orders shortly)

His incantation had been prepared and was underway. He would need time to pray, but with his altar and him praying on the magnificent Chosokabe Flag Ship he had time. The Cannon from the Flag Ship immediately opened fire towards the Oda ships. It would continually fire non-stop. While the Kansen began to advance forward, preparing to ram and board the enemy.
Although before the Kansen's departure ladders had been stretched from the Flag Ship and it. People could be seen moving back and forth under orders of Zhuge Liang. When the Kansen finally departed from the side of the Flag Ship it took off at a more increased speed. Zhuge Liang's plans were set in motion and the naval battle was about to begin.

Turn Results: Hintsune Juyian began by using her 'Banshee Cry' ability.
Fortunately for Zhuge Liang his orders given to the Kansen were written by letter and carried out effectively. The only order that was stopped by this ability was for the Chosokabe Flag Ship to fire. Oda's Heavy Galleon B sails towards the Chosokabe Kansen and opens fire, they miss and begin to withdraw. Due to the ships massive shape and weight it turns slowly, but eventually begins to retreat. With the Chosokabe Kansen on its tail, the Oda Riflemen aboard Heavey Galleon B open fire towards the Kansen. Quickly it is deduced that not a living soul is in sight.
Zhuge Liang being the renown strategist that he was. Had set his plans in motion. After some quick preparations the Kansen darted towards the Oda's Heavy Galleon B, something is up. While Zhuge is kept praying at his altar aboard the Chosokabe Flag Ship.
The Oda's Heavy Galleon A with Juyian darts towards the Chosokabe Flag Ship firing at them with the one cannon mounted and the Oda Riflemen aboard. The bullets completely miss and are out of range, but the cannon lands a solid hit on the outer hall of the Chosokabe Flag Ship. Not any visible damage is seen.
Troop Counts:
Chosokabe- Zhuge Liang 1 Kansen- 600 Engineers, 800 Monks 1 Chosokabe Flag Ship(Zhuge praying)
Oda- Hintsune Juyian Heavy Galleon A (Contains Hintsune Juyian): 3,000 Samurai 1000 Oda Riflemen
Heavy Galleon B: 600 Oda Riflemen 1,399 Samurai 2,000 Ashigaru 1 Cannon

Although the battle had effectively only just started, the battle was going badly. However, she would rather be captured here and now then retreat and report her first failure. And in her eyes, neither of those were options anyway. She began to keep her cool, continuing to dish out her orders while resting. This was a bad start, and something suspisious was going on, but she was not done yet.
(Will send orders within next 48h.)

Indeed Zhuge was renown for his stratagems. His plan to send his orders by letter rather than rely on yelling at his men had proven effective. The Kansen would continue on target with the low number of Engineers on board. Luckily not only was the Chosokabe Flag Ship a remarkable sight to behold, but it was also very sturdy. Once again Zhuge Liang dished out his orders by letter, much like before.

Turn Results: The Chosokabe Kansen continued at great speed, but thankful to the plans of Hintsune Juyian the cannon aboard the Heavy Galleon B, both mounted and brought one, begin firing at the Kansens mast. They successfully strike it and slow the ship down. Just before it rams into them catching the side of the ship. The side of the ship quickly is light aflame. With 5 Chosokabe Engineers jumping from the ship and begin swimming away.
The Oda Heavy Galleon A charging the Chosokabe Flagship would continue doing so. With it being much nearer now, both the cannons and the riflemen would have a far better shot. The Cannons would aim for the front of the ship. The Riflemen begin opening fire towards the sails, ripping holes throughout the Chosokabe Flag Ships sails. Which in turn slows the Flag Ship down.
While Zhuge Liang's master Chosokabe Motochika is returning from his campaign into Kyushu, Bungo Province. He shall arrive next turn results.
Hint- If something isn't done about the fire that just caught on the Heavy Galleon B, then it shall spread and the gunpowder from the mounted cannon and the cannon brought will eventually explode. Effectively killing everyone on that boat.
Troop Counts:
Chosokabe- Zhuge Liang 1 Kansen- (Exploded in fire attack) 5 Engineers attempting to swim away 1 Chosokabe Flag Ship(Zhuge praying), 595 Engineers, 800 Monks

A feeling of warmth crept over Zhuge Liang as he witnessed his Kansen smash into the side of the Oda ship. He knew that if they could not put out the fire then the ship would surely sink. But what were the Oda to do on a ship surrounded by water that they could not even reach if they wanted to. The Oda vessel was sure to sink and quickly for that matter. His plan had succeded part way, he still had more to come for the Oda.
Upon the Chosokabe Flag Ship a mysterious green light emitted from the deck. Clearly visible by the oncoming Oda vessel, which carried Juyian Hintsune. Zhuge Liang's pray was almost complete and with it the wind would come. Despite the low enemy ships, Zhuge wanted to use this stratagem again. It had worked for him in the past and so he was sorta reliving history.
In past centuries and era Zhuge Liang was a strategist for Shu, a kingdom in China. During his time there he fought against an adversary much like that of Oda, the Wei kingdom. When they came by sea it was Zhuge's wind prayer that pushed fires towards the enemy ships. Which burned them and killed many troops, sinking their ships.

Juyian could only smile at this. The enemy had sent in re-enforcements it would seem, and they had even sacrificed one of their ships in hope to get rid of her. But she was no where near done yet. She intended to see this all through. She began to give our her orders. Zhuge Liang didn't scare her, nor did his magic. It was nothing to her's, and she would do her best to prove it.

Turn Results: Zhuge Liang had know completed his prayer. The southeast winds blew strongly and the Oda ships are unable to push forward and are only able to move forward slowly. As the Chosokabe Kansen has sank now, the Oda Heavy Galleon B has begun taking on water. Although due to great planning by Hintsune Juyian the fire was put out.
She had ordered the Ashigaru on board to remove their clothing and stab their spears threw them. Once done with that they dipped the spears into the sea, pulling them out once their clothing became soaked and throwing them upon the fire. The fire had not grown to strong yet and therefor the intensity of the heat was not hot enough to break from the soaked clothing. Effectively putting out the fire. Unfortunately, the Heavy Galleon B was taking on water now from the wrecked Chosokabe Kansen.
The Chosokabe Flag Ship begins opening fire upon the Oda Heavy Galleon A once again. A small amount of Oda Riflemen were killed by the cannon balls. While the Oda Riflemen had successfully taken out the Chosokabe Flag Ship sails. Making it virtually unable to move.(I say virtually because there are other methods to moving a ship and it can be repaired.)
From the north came Chosokabe Motochika and his son Nobuchika. They had arrived in time to assist his strategist Zhuge Liang. Now it seems that the Oda were completely outmatched here, although Zhuge Liang had been holding off the Oda quite well, the time had come for the Oda to think of a new strategy against these expert sailors. Hintsune Juyian has devised a plan and is carrying it out secretly.
Troop Counts:
Chosokabe- Zhuge Liang 1 Kansen- (Exploded in fire attack, sunk) 1 Chosokabe Flag Ship(Sails shot threw), 595 Engineers, 800 Monks
Reinforcements- Heavy Galleon 1 - Motochika Chosokabe(Feudal Saddle) 1702 Ashigaru, 985 Samurai, 380 Monks, 500 Chosokabe Archers, 244 Ninja, 160 Engineers Heavy Galleon 2 - Nobuchika Chosokabe 1701 Ashigaru, 985 Samurai, 380 Monks, 500 Chosokabe Archers, 243 Ninja, 160 Engineers, 1 Siege Ramp
Oda- Hintsune Juyian Heavy Galleon A: 2,995 Samurai 985 Oda Riflemen
Heavy Galleon B: (Fire put out, but sinking) 600 Oda Riflemen 1,399 Samurai 2,000 Ashigaru 1 Cannon

With the southeast winds now blowing Zhuge felt calmer. The battle had been going quite well for the Chosokabe side. Even if they did decide to sacrifice a ship, it would in the end redeem itself by at least taking down one of the enemy ships. Now Zhuge Liang stood from his seat next to the altar and yelled out towards the Oda ships. "Retreat you demons! None shall invade these holy lands and defy what our lord has given us... We shall save the people of these lands from your wrath!"

The Oda Samurai could be heard laughing at Zhuge Liang's words. "Retreat you demons.." The men onboard didn't believe he knew what he was talking about. Demons don't retreat, least of all Demons of the Oda. They would go down fighting. Their little fire trick didn't really work, even if the ship was sinking. And with the talented Hintsune Juyian carrying out the secret plans, they believe they were in safe hands as they went about their plans.
(Most recent PM = Plans. You should have two for this turn, the least recent one shouldn't be used. If you only have one PM, let me know and I'll recover the actual plans. Other then that, Plans sent.)

(Still need Motochika to post before Turn Results)
The affairs within the Oda empire had been settled. Now it was time for Hideyoshi Toyotomi to assist Juyian Hintsune. Although in recent weeks the two had miscommunication and were not even on speaking terms. All that would change when Hideyoshi arrived off of the coast of Tosa. Juyian was engaged with the Chosokabe fleet and their head strategist, Zhuge Liang. She was in fact loosing fast here and her inexperience at naval warfare was obvious. Hideyoshi Toyotomi hoped to re-establish his and her relationship here today. He would save the Oda Witch and prove his worth to her. Word had arrived that Motochika Chosokabe was to arrive soon and that would push Juyian's defect to a fact, but Hideyoshi would be here to intervene in this defeat.
Arriving from the West Hideyoshi Toyotomi brought with him his Tekkousen. A mighty warship that could rival the Chosokabe Flag Ship on an even playing ground. This warship had 2 cannons unlike its counterpart, the Heavy Galleon and was just as big. On board was his 5,000 Samurai that his lord and master Nobunaga Oda had awarded him for his loyal servitude. Hideyoshi's Tekkousen would arrive closest to Tosa's shores. Much unlike Juyian's fleet as she had sailed from Kyuushu, while he had sailed from the mainland. In which he would be coming up behind Zhuge Liang and his Chosokabe Flag Ship. Upon the enemy coming into sight he ordered the Samurai to raise the Oda flags high for all to see, specifically Juyian Hintsune. Once done they began a non-stop firing pattern towards the Chosokabe Flag Ship. "Hideyoshi, Hideyoshi they'll all praise!! He saved your but here today Juyian!!"
