-Hisahide Matsunaga, the Shogun
After vacating the tent, he marched to the lieutenants and instructed them to assemble the armies. While the bulk of the forces were to go off with the other rulers, he himself would have a much larger force than the others. He was after all, going to be leading the vanguard. "We begin the march at once!" He commanded to the men as they all cheered for their Shogun. It was true that Hisahide was proud that so many had volunteered to stop these foreigners. He also hoped that they would be strong enough to stop them. For if they were to fail here then the rest of Japan was most likely to fall as well.

-Oda Nobunaga
The time to march had came and Nobunaga wanted to be the first ready and in battle. For the Shogun must of heard the exploits of the Oda to place Nobunaga in charge of such a large unit, larger than most in the coalition. Nobunaga would be stern to these men and prepare them for battle.
Outside the tent 3,000 Samurai were positioned and waiting for Nobunaga. He could easily pick them out of the other volunteer forces, most were not even standing at attention. It showed poorly on the Shogun however, he did respect that so many would come out of sheer words from Hisahide Matsunaga. To defend their land with their lives.
Nobunaga walked at a quick pace from the tent, immediately exiting Mori Ranmaru would bow and quickly follow with haste. No words were necessary between the two. Their bond strong and Ranmaru understood his duty. Before him were the before mentioned Samurai, all showing much more training than the others, but he would show them true training and discipline.
Before him stood the head captains over the 3,000 strong Samurai, he spoke sternly. "I am your commander and as such my word is all that matters. Obey me, and your homeland will be saved!" He promised to them to show them all his devotion to his goals. He walked down the column of men and began demanding once more. "All of you seem well trained, well none can compare to my troops..." He said outloud, whether it was intended not to be did not pass Nobunaga's thought process.
Nobunaga returned to the head of the column and ordered the head captains to stand at attention to the left and right of him. "We will march at once." The head captain to the right waved his arm forward to signal their commanders orders. Each of the 3,000 Samurai began to march in perfect rank. Whether these troops were his or not, he would command them as such. Oda Nobunaga would not falter here, he would show to all of Japan, here and now that this was the time of the Oda.

He sighed heavily, standing ahead of his unit, Hitoshi, his own lord, his old aquaintance, Nosuke a few feet behind him. It was odd being put as commander of their forces, but Hisahide was in charge, and it was his call, turning to his two friends, as well as the unit.
A few hundred yards away, he faintly heard the words of Nobunaga, then the cheering of his men, it wasn't till after he and Hisahide began to march before he began to adress his own men..
"Men, I could go into a large speech about how important this battle is, that if we fall here, the whole of Japan falls with us, but that is not the case.. You see, these foreigners made the mistake of invading us on this day, we are the one's who are at stake of losing everything, and that means we'll do anything at all to keep our homeland..."
He paused, looking along his line of samurai, it was a well built unit, Dosan had them arranged in the line formation, to utilize speed. He then continued...
"Today, our Lord Shogun; Hisahide, has tasked us with striking the enemy flank of the main unit, I will not lie to you, this unit numbers almost twenty thousand. this is perhaps the most dangerous task of the entire battle, but I ask you, if not us, then who will stop them?"
He took the time to look to Hitoshi and Nosuke now, the three of them would need each other for this battle, and he was glad to have them.
"I know some of you don't like me for my methods, or maybe it's because some of you were soldiers under Nobunaga's father, Nobuhide, who I killed at the battle of Kanôguchi and that is understandable. He was a good man, but his method for ruling was that of boarderline tyranny. Regardless of the past, we must put that aside.. We will catch our enemy off guard, and we will slaughter them, take no prisoners, these bastards will be dead before nightfall, let us be off, we have work to do!"
Moving out after Nobunaga and Hisahide, Dosan took his men west, using the cover of the larger two units to conceal his movements somewhat.

To be given the 2nd largest army out of all the coalition was indeed an honor, and even more so, to be made one of the leaders of the Coalition, alongside Saito Dosan, and Nobunaga. Nobunaga might not be a saint, but he wouldn't be where he was today if it weren't for his strength, so it seemed he had some use.
Motochika had Nobuchika deliver a letter to Chikauji to give to his father, which read....
Once Nobuchika returned, Motochika stood infront of his 4,000 Ashigaru. Though they were men he did not know, they were all volunteers, they all were armed, they all were ready for what to come or so they fought, but they had the determiantion to fight and defend their home.
Motochika raised his shamisen and strummed a sound, before lifting his right hand and holding out towards them "I am Motochika Chosokabe. Though we have been divided by the rivers' tides, the enemy ships that have rode on such tides have united us together this day. History shall remember this day that the Coalition fought against such tides, and achieved a great victory. As such, each of you are included in History, just like your forefathers. Follow me, heed my orders, and you shall be remembered, for you not only fight for our Lord Shogun and our beloved country, but also our families", turning to Nobuchika.
Nobuchika then decided to add his speech since his father gave him the opportunity, "You all have volunteered to defend this land, as have we. You all defend your families and loved ones, as do we. And now as we ride, we ride as one unit, as soul and sword becomes one!", as Motochika then added, "Before us are those with great evil which wish to bring harm to our people, but I cannot stand for such evil, for I am the shield that protects the people, aswell as my men, and you all are my men for this battle. Let us go, together!", as he mounted up and then led the driven ashigaru behind him and with his son by his side.
Many would look down on such volunteers, but Motochika had much admiration for them, and would defend them. Afterall, apart from the apparant status, they believed in the same thing. History will not forget the name of him, or those under his banner, and though these were not his men, they were under his control, and he'd make sure his feats and there's would be remembered. It was time to show the strength of the Chosokabe. Actions: Motochika follows Hisahide and Nobunaga after inspiring his ashigaru units in order to form a bond for them all to work together well

- Fuma Kotaro.
He nodded simply as he exited the tent, approaching the Cavalry unit that had formed up awaiting their Generals, he turned to the other Generals and watched as Hisahide, Nobunaga and Saito moved out, he then turned to look back to the tent, waiting on Hintsune Juiyan, the woman who's unit himself and his apprentice were meant to be assisting, folding his arms he turned his head to Hideki, his apprentice.
- Fuma Apprentice
He simply followed silently after his master, his armour seeming to absorb any light around him, sheer darkness cloaking him as he approached Kotaro, he himself turned to look for Hintsune, he'd resigned to working for her, only because it was for the good of all Japan.

Event Turn Results: The volunteers were all cheery from each little speech the appointed leaders of the coalition had given. The Shogun, Hisahide Matsunaga, began the march and seemed rather quiet. While Oda Nobunaga was obviously the most stern to the men under him. The Chosokabe had seemed the most kind to the volunteers under them and Saito Dosan had given them an important task. However, the others were still late to arrive.
The enemy forces have yet to make a move. Besides forming up ranks on the beach. They have also not set in place any form of defenses and the leader is rumored to still be on a boat.

Nosuke followed behind Saito determinedly. Normally he would be that last person in such a conflict, but these were not normal times and his home was threatened by an invading force. He would show them the error of their ways and exact divine judgment on his enemies. He may have been trained to be peaceful, but he was also trained in combat to perfection should he need to defend himself or others.
As their unit progressed Nosuke prepared his mind for the following conflict and the death that would follow. He shoved everything from his mind but the battle and the mission. He retrieved his sutras from his robes and called the spells he would need to mind. He knew against such a large force this would not be easy.

Hisahide was pleased that once everything had been settled or pushed to the side, that the coalition could move out with such haste. He heard the voices of the appointed leaders shouting out orders to the men who had volunteered to fight for their homeland this day. Each showing what they were about and how they went a long with situations.
His own unit had been the first to march. With Oda Nobunaga's unit following quickly and the Chosokabe units as well. Though he would hear from Saito Dosan's unit for quite some time. He had also hoped that the Cavalry and the ninja unit had begun to move out as well or else those nasty longbowmen would give the vanguard a pummeling. Something Hisahide wished to avoid, but knew ultimately that men and woman were going to die here.
His own unit would be the first to reach the center of the battlefield and when the entire unit under him reached this spot, he ordered them to halt. Moving towards the front of the column, he would yell out towards the foreign invaders. "You who dare to invade our land shall feel our wrath! You will not beat us because we can not lose. We have far to much at stake here and by the heavens I swear that our homeland will be defended!" His voice echoed past the grassy knoll on which his unit stood on and further down the beach towards the enemy ranks and ships. The knoll his unit sat on waited for the coalition and the enemy forces. He was trying to lure them out.

-Hintsune Juyian
She would be mounted a top of Shadow, her feudal saddle. When she arrived at the Cavalry division placed under her, Fuma Kotaro and his apprentice would be there as well. A stare was all that was given to them before she ordered the Cavalry unit to move out. Their goal was to take out the enemy longbowmen and then proceed to provide assistance with the vanguard unit.
-Oda Nobunaga
The only one ahead of Nobunaga's unit was that of the Shogun's, which he arrived next to shortly. As soon as they did arrive to Hisahide's force, the ones under Nobunaga would halt. "The enemy will likely charge us, let them and we shall have them under our heels." Oda Nobunaga was confident as always, wanting the invading foreign forces to charge recklessly at them and fall right into their plans.

Motochika was upon his horse, with his son by his side, and behind them, was the 4000 Ashigaru given to them by the Shogun. As they marched forward, Motochika listened and smiled as Nobuchika got them to space out and then swinging their swords to the right and then the left, then thrusting, then in defence, each time making sure they moved in unison and all worked together. Afterall, ashigaru were not as strong as samurai which were under Oda's command, but in numbers, and if each of them worked together, the ashigaru too were strong. If not, stronger.
When the main unit of Hisahide halted, Motochika saw Nobunaga's halt likewise, and he too ordered a halt, pulling to the opposite side to that of Nobunaga to ensure that his forces had a piece of the action also, as Hisahide rallied the men under his command, aswell as taunting the enemy forwards. "Prepare yourselves....Prepare to see Victory sealed in our grasp, and you all will be part of it". All they could do now was await for the enemy to come, and if not, then they would have to draw closer.

Event Turn Results: The Coalition volunteers seem to be lacking. With less than half of the volunteers actually setting forth for battle and only the Shogun, Nobunaga and Motochika have made any advancements. The Foreigners have begun moving towards the Shogun's position.

-Hisahide Matsunaga
His own unit was in position, while he could see both Nobunaga's samurai unit and Motochika's Ashigaru unit had moved into position. The rest of the coalition was lacking. His ruse had seemed to work, with the foreigners advancing towards the position. He hoped that the rest of the coalition would begin their orders and act accordingly, but that was all that he could do, was hope.

Hintsune Juyian would move forward with her cavalry, but at a slow pace, so she would remain out of archer fire, and remain out of charging fire. She would also split her Cavalry into two units, Cavalry A (1,500 Cavalry) and Cavalry B (500 Cavalry) feeling this would be useful for later on in the battle. She was also curious as to what the Shogun was currantly thinking. This was a poor show of officers indeed, and if even one of them fell, surely this defence would fail. It was apon realising this she and her mount, Shadow, turned to face the imperial soldiers.
"Listen, men of the empire! Many people here have had their squabbles with each other, but we must overcome personal issues. Let us move forth and show these fools that they should focus on their own piece of land, rather then moving into ours!"

Nobunaga Oda paced back and forth with his eyes glaring at each of the samurai formed here. His gaze would also fall on that of the Shogun's forces and the Chosokabe likewise. He would show the world that the Oda were the strongest here and the most desciplined. Whether these were actually Oda troops or not, it mattered not to Nobunaga. He would demand the same amount of success out of them or pound it out of them.
A cough came from Nobunaga, but he did his best to hide it. The last thing he wanted to show to the samurai under him was weakness or the other warlords. The plan was simple and although it relied heavily on the coalition leaders, Nobunaga was destined to be the one to shine. The main force of the coalition was to lure the foreign invaders in and hold them here. While Saito Dosan struck at them from the sides or behind and Hintsune Juyian, a long with the Fuma, were to strike at the archers.
He quickly darted to a slacking samurai amongst the group of them and kicked him down to the ground. "You had better stand at attention! I care not if you serve the Shogun or whoever, you will obey my command and you will act as if I am your lord!" His voice stern and cold, but his methods had been proven effective. Indeed he intended for these troops to be their best today and no mercy was offered to them. Nobunaga, with a quick pace, returned to the head of his units and watched as the foreign force began running towards them. A few words slipped his lips once again, but they were loud enough for the forces near to hear. "Such a foolish enemy, do they not know who they face?!"
In truth, Nobunaga was not only speaking of himself, but the entire coalition. Indeed he prided his own clan as the best, but he did have respect for the other clans. The Chosokabe were indeed strong as they had successfully united their entire island of Shikoku. While a new clan had arisen known as the Neo-Shinto, which owned no real land but had many followers. It was true to say that although Nobunaga was generally biased, he indeed did respect all of his adversaries.
